The Styling

  1. The high halter neck already does the elegant work, so skip a necklace entirely.
  2. Layer the blazer or a leather jacket over the top for cooler evenings — it also adds texture against the dress.
  3. Add black heels and a clutch in a colour of your choice for a small pop against the all-black base.
  4. Pull hair back into a slicked bun or high pony to show off the neckline properly.
The alteration: Add low-denier tights under the dress on colder nights without losing the silhouette.
