The Styling

  1. Let the sleeveless dress do the heavy lifting — it's the base for the whole look and works alone in warmer weather.
  2. For cooler days or a more formal meeting, layer the cardigan over the top and cinch with the thin belt.
  3. Add court shoes or a block heel for the office, swapping to flats for a more casual version of the same dress.
  4. Finish with a simple pendant necklace so the neckline doesn't look bare.
The alteration: Layer a turtleneck or blouse underneath the dress in colder months instead of relying on the cardigan alone.
